savage River lodge
A destination resort nestled among 40 acres, entirely surrounded by Savage River State Forest. Guests enjoy unparalleled tranquility in a relaxed atmosphere. Overnight accommodations include 18 cabins and 8 yurts; the gourmet American cuisine restaurant with full bar and extensive wine list appeals to any palate. Just out your front door are 14 miles of trails for hiking and geocaching or skiing and snowshoeing; biking on the Great Allegheny Passage trail or fly fishing on the Casselman River are just a short drive away.
the cornucopia café
Riverview dining in a contemporary barn, from coffee hour to happy hour. The Café was constructed from a 185 year old barn salvaged from nearby, its beams and trusses and wood used for interior details and the primary siding. Surprise touches are found throughout the restaurant, like horsebits and reins used on the banquettes, and original hayloft ladders used to display wines. The kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily from a menu of classic comfort foods, with a twist.
